I am quite sure for a learner like me to keep up with all the techies is a great challenge. There are so many other daily routines and unexpected to deal with everyday and many of us are engulfed by the increasing "mass" (amount & variety) of onlin e tools. The world of education is being transformed like never before, from classroom-based to, basically "virtual" classroom. Here, i tried to map what and how i learn from my social environment (PLE):

Then, podcasting, where a teacher can pre-record lectures or tutorial for students and all instrcutions can be really precise and straight to the point.

Wikipedia has massive amount of info and easy to search. However, it is only suitable for educationists who are true master of all relevant knowledge in the related fields. Students will like to look for additional information on subjects covered in the "class" and wikis is good place for them to find out more.
If i am teaching this semester, i thought i could have tested these tools with my students by telling them where are all the info (notes/tutorial) stored and i'm sure they will find learning more interesting and that learning can be fun and "cool" as most students still mentally and physically "trapped" in the four-wall classrooms (because most teachers not that IT savvy) and many would be very surprised to learn that their lecturers are as cool as them.

IET3: Changed my life!
I have been wondering if i would be able to become a student/learner again. I have basically stopped since 5 years ago and i really miss every minute of being a student. This course has basically forced me to reflect on what i really want. It's been 7 weeks into it and the more i get to know this course, i deeper i fall in love with it!
